It's Halloween Time in Fontana!

On Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., the following community centers get into the spirit with a Halloween Trick-or-Treat Alley for the whole family:  

  • Jessie Turner Health & Fitness Community Center

The free festivities will offer trick or treating, virtual costume contest, take home crafts and prizes. For more information, please contact the center you are interested in attending.  

Halloween Howl for Dogs

Get your pups ready to howl for the return of Halloween Howl at Fontana Dog Park on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Fontana Dog Park is located at 15556 Summit Ave. 

Halloween Howl adds to the family fun during our Halloween events. Halloween Howl offers pet owner’s the opportunity to learn about services and programs are offered in the community as they follow their canine down trick or treat alley visiting the various booths. There will be a virtual dog costume contest and photo opportunities. Please note that all dogs must be on a leash.

Fontana Arts Halloween-Themed Art Activities

Fontana Arts kicks off the Halloween festivities with a Mini Clay Pot Scarecrow Make and Create Workshop on Saturday, Oct. 9 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. for $6 per person. All ages welcome. Virtual and in-person options available.

The treats keep coming with Halloween-themed Children Paint Nights. At Paint Nights, participants can enjoy art making from home or in-person dressed in their Halloween costumes. Paint Nights consist of a Halloween story, an art activity, song time and a canvas painting. Paint Nights cost $7 per participant, materials provided.

  • Saturday, Oct. 23 at 3 p.m.-4:30 p.m.: Boo-rific Little Tykes Paint Night (Ages 3-5)
     A parent must accompany each child to Little Tykes Paint Night.
  • Friday, Oct. 29 at 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.: Trick Art Treat Kid's Paint Night (Ages 5-12)
