Two Suspects Arrested in Connection to the Homicide Committed on 11/15/18

FONTANA, CA

On 11/15/18, detectives with the Fontana Police Department began a homicide investigation after finding a 30 year old male shot to death in his vehicle on the 17700 block of Dianthus Ave in Fontana. Detectives worked non-stop and were able to identify two suspects involved in the crime. The suspects were identified as Christian Vargas (26) of Fontana and Alejandro Torres (23) resident of San Bernardino. 

On 11-17-18 and 11/18/18 warrants were served at the residences of both subjects. The residences were located on 6600 block of Merito Ave in San Bernardino and  the 18200 block of Foothill in Fontana. Evidence linking the suspects to the homicide were located at each residence. The suspects were each arrested near or at their residences. 

Vargas and Torres were taken to the Fontana Police Department for questioning and later booked at West Valley Detention Center for homicide.
