Fontana Police Detectives Arrest Four Burglary Suspects After a Lengthy Pursuit

Over the past two weeks, several businesses in the City of Fontana were burglarized by suspects who gained entry by smashing windows and using a power tool to open safes and safe deposit boxes.  

Because of those burglaries Detectives were on surveillance in the area overnight. At approximately 0330 hours, Detectives observed a suspect vehicle back up to a Pickup Stix restaurant located on the 16100 block of Sierra Lakes Parkway. The suspects smashed a window and entered the restaurant. They ransacked the business and left with a cash register and other miscellaneous items. The suspects were inside for less than a minute. The suspects entered their vehicle and upon being contacted by marked units led officers on a high-speed pursuit. The pursuit traveled various freeways and jurisdictions. Suspects were throwing items out of the vehicle on the 210 and 215 freeways. Officers recovered a cash register on the freeway. The pursuit was turned over to CHP as it entered Orange County. The pursuit terminated on the 91 east of the 605 freeway and lasted for approximately 50 minutes. Four suspects were arrested without incident and transported to the station for processing before being transported to West Valley Detention Center.

  • Keyantah Jordan 18ys old from Long Beach
  • Dazjohin Smith 19 yrs old from Paramount
  • Nicholas Powell 20 yrs old from Compton
  • Jasonte Flowers 24 yrs old from Los Angeles
