City of Fontana Public Works Department will be performing pavement rehabilitation improvements on the streets shown below through August 2017 (weather permitting):
- Baseline Avenue; from Beech Avenue to Citrus Avenue
- Tokay Avenue: from Baseline Avenue to Foothill Boulevard
- Miller Avenue: from Almeria Avenue to Citrus Avenue
- Citrus Avenue; from Baseline Avenue to Foothill Boulevard
- Foothill Boulevard; from Tokay Avenue to Oleander Avenue
Construction of the improvements will require temporary lane closures, detours and various street parking restrictions. Parking restriction signs will be posted, at least 48 hours prior to starting work. Please be advised that vehicles parked within the posted areas will be cited and towed at the owner’s expense per California Vehicle Code 22651 (L)22658 (A).
Please be advised that every effort is made to minimize traffic congestion near residences and businesses during construction and some work will be done at night between 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Additionally, the City of Fontana strongly recommends that you use alternate routes whenever possible, but all local traffic will be provided access. Your patience and cooperation will be greatly appreciated while construction is underway.
