The City invites the public to attend a land dedication ceremony for South Fontana Sports Park on Monday, October 22 at 10:00 a.m. at 10941 Cypress Avenue. The proposed 18-acre park will be located on Santa Ana Ave between Cypress Ave and Juniper Ave.

Street improvements on Citrus Avenue from Santa Ana Avenue to Slover Avenue will take place starting Monday, October 8, 2018, through Friday, January 11, 2019. Crews will work between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Roadwork is set to take place on Baseline Avenue, between Americana Way and Citrus Avenue, from Monday, October 1, 2018, to November 28, 2018. Work will occur Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Roadwork on Sierra Avenue and South Highland Avenue

Sierra Roadwork 9-26-18

Roadwork at Sierra Ave and South Highland Ave is currently underway and will continue until Oct. 1, 2018. Traffic will be reduced to one lane from 8:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. There will then be a 3-week complete closure of South Highland Ave westbound lanes.

Mayor and Council Thank Assemblywoman Eloise Reyes for Assembly Bill that Seeks to Return Nearly $1M

Assemblywoman Reyes plans to correct a previous bill that unintentionally cut Vehicle License Fee revenue that funded public safety services in the City's annexed areas. If passed, the bill will return approximately $900,000 annually to Fontana.
