The City of Fontana, in partnership with the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), is in the process of developing a citywide landscaping plan. This GREENprint will provide landscaping standards for future and rehabilitated development.
The plan aims to:
Establish policy and ordinances resulting in a consistent, sustainable and water/energy efficient landscape scheme citywide
Encourage active transportation (spending more time outdoors)
Three community workshops were held while developing the Urban Greening Master Plan: December 2018, March 2019, and June 2019.
