The City of Fontana, in partnership with the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), is in the process of developing a citywide landscaping plan. This GREENprint will provide landscaping standards for future and rehabilitated development.
The plan aims to:
Establish policy and ordinances resulting in a consistent, sustainable and water/energy efficient landscape scheme citywide
Encourage active transportation (spending more time outdoors)
There have been two community workshops so far (the first in December 2018 and the second in March 2020). The final workshop will discuss implementation strategies, and will be:
Wednesday, June 12, 2019 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Development Advisory Board (DAB) Room Fontana City Hall 8353 Sierra Avenue
