Urban Greening Master Plan

The City of Fontana, in partnership with the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), is in the process of developing a citywide landscaping plan. This GREENprint will provide landscaping standards for future and rehabilitated development.

The plan aims to:

  • Establish policy and ordinances resulting in a consistent, sustainable and water/energy efficient landscape scheme citywide
  • Encourage active transportation (spending more time outdoors)
  • Improve air quality
