All swimmers must wear proper swim trunks. No denim, basketball, jersey or cotton shorts or t-shirts permitted in the water. All guests must pay an entrance fee to enter the pool area. All children under the age of 7 must be within arms reach of an adult at all times.

Must be 48" to ride water slides.

Swim Lessons

The City of Fontana's learn-to-swim programs are among the most comprehensive in the Inland Empire. We offer eight different levels in the morning and evening to fit almost everyone's schedule. Classes fill up fast so sign up today!

To ensure your child is placed into the correct level, the Fontana Park Aquatic Center offers Swim Tests free of charge! Swim Tests take place Monday-Thursday at the Fontana Park Aquatic Center from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, with no appointment necessary. Can't make it to a Swim Test? Please see chart below.

*Children 6 months - 2.5 years old do not need a swim test and can enroll into Crab & Crabling.
*Children 2.5 years - 4 years old do not need a swim test and can enroll into Shrimps.

*Teen lessons are for teens age 13-17. Swim test not required.
*Adult Lessons are for adults age 18+. Swim test not required.

Important: Additional $15 applies to non-residents. No transfers, credits or refunds. Until further notice, registration will be online only - no in person registration will be accepted. Registration for all lessons closes the Thursday before the session begins at 9pm.

Lessons are 30-minutes, Monday through Thursday for 2 consecutive weeks.

Rentals

The City of Fontana will only be offering limited Private Rental opportunities due to low staffing and Covid-19. Rental times and dates are subject to approval. For more details and available dates and times, please contact the Fontana Park Aquatic Center at (909) 854-5111.

Fee Schedule

There is a two-hour minimum for all City Aquatics site rentals. For Community Pool rentals, each additional hour is half the original price. A refundable trust deposit of $150 is required at the time of booking the reservation. Deposit does not go toward facility balance. A $50 Non-Resident Fee will be applied to Non-City of Fontana residents. Entire cost of reservation must be paid at least 30 days before the rental date.

Making your Reservation 

1. Contact the Fontana Park Aquatic Center to find out if the date desired is available and get further information.

2. When ready to book rental, verify with Aquatics staff that a Manager at the Fontana Park Aquatic Center will be available to book the rental.

3. Fill out the Reservation form available at the Aquatic Center and pay the facility deposit.

4. Make your final payment of the balance at least 30 days before your event.

5. Attend and enjoy your event with the City of Fontana Aquatic Staff.

Note: Cancellations less than 60 days prior to the event will result in 100% loss of funds. All final payments must be made 30 days prior to the event. If the balance is not paid off 30 days in advance, the reservation will result in a cancellation and 100% loss of all paid fees.

*All rentals are on a first come first serve basis. Reservations will not be taken over the phone and dates cannot be temporarily reserved.
