The Fontana Housing Authority has been awarded tax credit funding (CDLAC/TCAC) that will be used with federal HOME monies to create a new, affordable community at 7807 and 7833 Juniper Avenue.
Siena Apartments will consist of 54 affordable, family units on an approximately 5 acre site north of Foothill Boulevard, on the easterly side of Juniper Avenue.
The Architecture will be similar to that of the neighboring Toscana Apartments. There will be 61 total units comprised. The Project will have five residential buildings and two Community Buildings. The units are a mix of one, two, three bedrooms, located in five two-story buildings. The development will also include two recreational buildings, which will accommodate community and meeting space, plus active and passive amenities, maintenance and laundry facilities.
Residents will be provided with supportive services by the San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health that will work with the ConAm Management property manager. Through a Partnership with the City of Fontana's Community Services Department, one of the recreational buildings will be available for scheduled programs and meetings offered to the surrounding community at-large. Some of the Programs will include Healthy Fontana, Fontana Arts, Cooking classes, Little league meetings and award ceremonies to name a few. Siena will also be certified in the City's crime Free Multi-Housing Program, whose goal is to reduce crime, drug, and gang activity in rental properties and the surrounding area.
Siena Apartments are located at 7807 and 7833 Juniper Avenue, Fontana CA 92336 in the County of San Bernardino. Siena lies directly across the street from Bill Martin Park.
