Sparks Club

Club Information


Our mission: To include as well as create awareness and provide resources to families, educators, and all else who may be interested. To create a community open to individuality.

The Sparks Club is a social outlet for both individuals with special needs and their families. The program is designed to provide families with a supportive atmosphere that is so often relied on.

The Sparks Club activities and events are planned by City staff for people ages three years and older who have been diagnosed with a cognitive disability and are classified from mild to severe.

Individuals who wish to participate must:
  • Be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
  • Be self-sufficient
  • Be able to function in a group environment without causing harm to themselves or others or disrupting the group
