Register for Classes Online

What if you can explore and register for classes with just the tip of your finger? The online registration system, Perfect Mind, has you covered. You can find all the available recreation, sports, and swim programs and available facility & park rentals. Disney's Frozen Jr. Tickets Now on Sale

Bringing Elsa, Anna and the enchanting and magical land of Arendelle to life, Disney’s Frozen Jr. is a modern classic that you must see live on stage! Come experience the City of Fontana’s presentations of Disney’s Frozen at Steelworks’ Auditorium (8437 Sierra Ave). Tickets go on sale October 1. The cost is $15 per person.

Veterans Day Writing & Art Contest

Entries Due Friday, Oct. 11

Writing Contest- Fontana residents 18 years and under are invited to submit an essay or poem of 250 words or less expressing “What Veterans Day means to me.” Please print neatly or submit a typed copy.

Top 3 winners receive the following:

  • Visa Gift Card
  • An opportunity to read their essay or poem at the Veterans Day Celebration
  • An opportunity to have their essay or poem featured in the Fontana Herald News

Art Contest- Fontana residents 8 years and under are invited to illustrate “What a veteran is to me.” Top 3 winners receive the following:

  • Recognition at the Veterans Day Celebration
  • Art displayed in the event program
All entries are due Friday, October 11. Submit entries by mail or in person to City of Fontana Community Services Department, Attention: SPECIAL EVENTS 16860 Valencia Ave, Fontana Ca 92335 or email events@fontana.org. For more information, please call (909) 349-6900.

Let's Move on the Trail

Saturday, Oct. 12

Get ready to move on Saturday, October 12 for Healthy Fontana's Annual Let’s Move on the Trail Health, Safety & Fitness Expo. This free event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and takes place on the Pacific Electric Trail (P.E.T) between Cypress Avenue and the Miller Park Amphitheater. The expo will include tons of information and activities such as healthy food samples, vendors, demonstrations, open houses, and even a bike and walk/run event.
