1.   Last Summer Concert of 2019

Fontana Walks is inviting residents to help celebrate its two-year anniversary on Saturday, Aug. 17 at 7:00 a.m. at Steelworkers’ Auditorium (8437 Sierra Ave.).

 The day will begin with a warm-up, brisk walk and cool down with Healthy Fontana staff. Following the walk, participants can enjoy a free resource fair with healthy snacks, beverages and giveaways! 2. Summertime Car Show 

August 2

Want something fun to do with the family? Check out the Fontana Car Show this Friday, Aug. 2 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Civic Center Campus (8353 Sierra Ave.). Rock on to a live performance by musical guest the Smokin Cobras. Grab some food from our food vendors and check out the activities for kids too! 3. Dancing & Love Latin Music Return to Center Stage

August 15 & 29

Do you love to dance to the rhythm of Latin music? Come to Noches con Ritmo on Aug. 15 and Aug. 29 at Center Stage Theater (8463 Sierra Ave.). Learn to salsa dance with an instructor-led lesson at 7:00 p.m. The live music and dancing starts at 8:00 p.m.

Aug. 29 – Louie Cruz Beltran Latin Jazz Ensemble

 Admission is only $5 before 9:00 p.m. and $7 after so make sure to arrive on time. The event welcomes adults 18 years and older. 5. Rec Swim Open Weekends 

August 17 - October 13

Beat the heat, and dive right into any of the City's pools for recreational day or night swim! Recreational swim will be open from Aug. 17 through Oct. 13 on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Visit one of city’s pools located at the following locations:

  • Fontana Park Aquatic Center, 15610 Summit Ave.
  • Heritage Pool, 7350 W. Liberty Pkwy.
  • Don Day Pool, 14501 Live Oak Ave.
  • Miller Pool, 17004 Arrow Blvd.
