The following classes are offered to adults through Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center.
Healthy Balance: A Weight Management Program: Start losing those extra pounds and inches with this positive-approach program and support group. You’ll learn behavioral approaches to managing and controlling stress and cravings and developing new eating and fitness habits. The program cost is $270 (or $50 startup + $10/week) for Kaiser members and non-members. For more information or to register for a class, call (909) 609-3000. Get FIT for Life
Do you want to start exercising, but don’t know where to start?
This 7-week program consists of low-impact, aerobic, strength training, and flexibility exercises for beginners. You will learn different exercises and what muscles they work, what the correct form is, how to build muscle and strengthen your bones, as well as other techniques you might not think are important, such as using the right technique for breathing when exercising. All of these skills can make a difference in your new FIT life.

Living Well: Freedom from Tobacco and for
Kick the nicotine habit for good by: Discussing chemical and behavioral aids; Gaining a better understanding of your routines and habits related to smoking; Getting suggestions for lifestyle changes to help you quit; Learning a variety of techniques to help you become smoke-free
The program starts with a smoking cessation orientation, followed by a six-week series of classes held once a week in mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
