Central City Park

The goal of the Central City Park Project in Fontana is to create a sports facility that will be used for football and soccer games. The scale and quality of this facility is similar to the existing Ralph M. Lewis Sport Complex. This 12.7 acres facility will include one field designated for soccer and two football fields with soccer overlays. The existing Cypress Community Center will remain on this site. The horse shoe area and Community Garden will be relocated and all new equipment installed. This park will also include a restroom/snack bar facility, a large ADA accessible playground area and a total of 280 parking stalls. Central City Park will enhance the connection between the downtown area, the City hall campus, Miller Park, the Lewis Library, and the Rose Garden/historical site. Central City Park will also provide a trail head to the Pacific Electric Trail, providing restroom facilities and rest areas for the hundreds of people that walk or bike this trail.
