FONTANA - On July 18,
2008 at approximately 2331 hours, a male victim was shot at a party on
Walnut Avenue in the City of Fontana. The victim was transported
to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center where he died of his gunshot wound.
Kenley Alexander Davis was positively identified as the shooter. A
warrant for Davis was issued the by District Attorney's Office for PC
187/murder. Detectives following leads, located Davis in the City
of Moreno Valley. Officers attempted to stop Davis and a high
speed chase ensued, which lead to the City of Rialto. Davis jumped
from the vehicle and barricaded himself inside a residence at 859 Birch
Street, Rialto. Davis surrendered to Rialto Police Department SWAT
members at 2210 hours. Davis was arrested and booked into West
Valley Detention Center for PC 187/murder.
