Non-Motorized Vehicle Permit

Please complete the fields below to request a permit. A permit will be emailed to you. Permit requests received Monday - Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (excluding holidays), will be issued the same day. Permit requests received outside of these hours will be issued the next business day. To request a RV Permit by phone call the Summit Heights Contact Station at (909) 463-6103 Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or walk-in to the Fontana Police Department at 17005 Upland Ave. in Fontana, Monday - Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Select your Vehicle type from the list below.
     

  • Enter your Vehicle License number. (NOTE: A VIN will only be accepted if DMV has not issued your vehicle a license plate number).  Entering a VIN in lieu of a license plate number that has been assigned by DMV will delay and/or prevent your permit from being processed.
       

    • Secondary trailer/vehicle
  • Select your Vehicle type from the list below.
      
  • Secondary trailer/vehicle- Enter your Vehicle License number. (NOTE: A VIN will only be accepted if DMV has not issued your vehicle a license plate number).  Entering a VIN in lieu of a license plate number that has been assigned by DMV will delay and/or prevent your permit from being processed.
