Slover Avenue at Live Oak Avenue - Please be advised that to facilitate signal pre-emption work, traffic lanes on Slover Avenue at Live Oak Avenue will be reduced periodically to one lane in each direction. Expect traffic delays, use alternate routes when possible. Project completion anticipated May 15, 2008 (updated 04/23/08)

Cherry Avenue / Jurupa Ave. to Slover Ave - Please be advised that construction on Cherry Ave. is ongoing and motorists are advised to travel through the work zone area with caution.

Sierra Avenue - Walnut Ave. to Baseline Avenue Please be advised that construction on Sierra Ave. is ongoing and motorists are advised to travel through the work zone area with caution.

Sierra Avenue / Slover Avenue - Please be advised that utility work near the intersection . will reduce traffic to two (2) lanes for both northbound and eastbound directions. Motorists are advised to travel through the work zone area with caution. Project Duration is expected from 04/28/2008 through May 12, 2008

Foothill Boulevard - Almeria Ave to Tokay Ave. - Project is substantially completed. Please be advised that to facilitate median landscaping remedial/maintenance work safely, eastbound traffic lanes on Foothill Blvd. will be intermittently reduced to two lanes from 7:00am to 4:00pm. Intermittent lane reductions will occur March 2008 through May, 2008. (updated 3/20/08)

Foothill Boulevard - Ilex Avenue to Cherry Avenue. - Please be advised that the current traffic control will be changed on May 19, 2008 to accommodate the next construction phase, which will be the median island. There will be two westbound and two eastbound lanes during this phase. Expect traffic delays, use alternate routes when possible. Overall project completion is scheduled for August 12, 2008. Valley Boulevard - Citrus Avenue to Juniper Avenue. - The City of Fontana Public Works Department will be constructing street improvements including new curb and gutter in selected areas and asphalt pavement maintenance on Valley Boulevard - Citrus Avenue to Juniper Avenue. The anticipated construction period will be from: March 17, 2008 thru April 17, 2008 (weather permitting). Due to the heavy daytime vehicular traffic, the asphalt pavement construction is scheduled for night time hours (8 pm - 5 am) . This will also minimize inconveniences to the businesses and residents within the project limits. Temporary restrictions for street parking will be necessary during construction. No Parking signs will be posted prior to beginning the project. Please be advised that vehicles parked within the project areas will be cited and towed at the owner's expense per FMC 17-145.

Foothill Boulevard - East Avenue. - Please be advised that westbound Foothill Boulevard at East Avenue will have one lane closed to facilitate the installation of a water line. The closure will begin April 11, 2008; 9AM to 4PM . The work is estimated to be completed in one week. Expect traffic delays. Additionally, East Avenue will be closed between Foothill Blvd and Miller Avenue during this time. There will be a posted detour route using Miller Avenue, Etiwanda Avenue, West Liberty Parkway, and Mulberry Avenue.
