Redevelopment
- Meet all legal and contractual obligations related to
Agency activities.
- To monitor implementation of the Ten-Ninety Facilitation
Agreement and process quarterly statement of development
costs within the time period allowed.
- To continue to work with the project team implementing
the work out plan for the Empire Business Center.
- To continue to promptly and professionally evaluate redevelopment
proposals throughout the various project areas
- To continue to provide assistance to the Downtown Revitalization
Taskforce and Downtown Business Association.
- To complete urban design / streetscape plans for the Nuevo
Festival Street and start implementation.
- To implement a facade rehabilitation program on
the east side of Sierra Avenue between Valencia Avenue and
Orange Way.
- To complete two Sierra Avenue intersection decorative
paving projects.
Low and Moderate
Income Housing
- To
continue administration of financial resources available
through the Federal HOME program. These funds will again
be targeted for utilization in conjunction with identified
Multi-Family (apartment) Revitalization Projects.
