The Redevelopment Agency implements the objectives adopted in the Redevelopment Plans for each project area. These may include rehabilitating and revitalizing deteriorated areas via various methods of Redevelopment Agency participation, such as land assemblage, infrastructure upgrades and certain off-site improvements. Removal of blight, creation and retention of jobs, and improvement and preservation of affordable housing are the three primary areas of focus for the Agency.
