Fontana 360°
Fontana, California. The Mayor and City Council announce the debut of Fontana 360° (www.fontana360.org) a new web log (blog) moderated by Fontana City Manager, Ken Hunt.
Postings, as well as weekly responses to readers, will provide residents, visitors, and business representatives with an opportunity to learn more about the issues and policies that are important to the community.
“A key component to the success of any community is open and honest communication with its residents,” says Hunt, adding, “The Mayor and City Council have made improved communication within the community a priority for the past several years. Creating a City manager blog to take advantage of new technology is both a logical and needed “next step” in accomplishing this goal.”
The first topic will introduce readers to the overall structure of Fontana City government, leadership roles in the city and Hunt’s own role within the organization. Reader’s questions will be selected on a weekly basis and posted for response from the City Manager.
