Release Date: August 17, 2009

Fontana, California. The Mayor and City Council invite the public to enjoy the summer family fun and open house festivities at the Don Day neighborhood Center, located at 14501 Live Oak Avenue on Thursday, August 27 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The Summer Family Fun Night and Open House features class performances from many of our favorite classes and a movie in the park. Light refreshments will also be served.

The Don Day Neighborhood Center is one of the many reasons why Fontana is recognized as one of the 100 Best Communities for Young People by America’s Promise Alliance. The center is a gathering place for families that want to participate in great, low cost classes, aquatics programs and fun community events. Programming at the Don Day neighborhood center includes a variety of classes designed to keep participants fit and active while in a fun and relaxing environment. Classes such as Jazzercise, Mexican Folk Dance, Tennis, Tae Kwon Do, Salsa and Cheerleading are available now.
