Chris Murphy to Perform August 25
Lewis Library Courtyard

Fontana, California. The Mayor and City Council invite the public to attend a free Mandolin performance by Chris Murphy on Tuesday, August 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the courtyard of the Lewis Library and Technology Center located at 8437 Sierra Avenue.

Chris Murphy is a violinist, band leader and composer who has been composing and performing his own unique style of music for over 15 years. His sound is a fusion of jazz, blues, country, classical, ethnic and electronic music. Chris has performed in over 40 U.S. states as well as England and Ireland. Murphy performs solo or as a duo or trio with musicians such as bass player Hal Cragin, Iggy Pop, Rod Stewart, Smashing Pumpkins and Sarah McLachlan. Chris also composes music for film, television and his own independent albums.
