Youth Sports Registrations End Soon
Release Date: April 9, 2008
Fontana,
California, April 9, 2008. The Mayor and City Council invite parents of teens and youth to register
for the upcoming Track and Field, Spring Youth Basketball, and Teen Basketball seasons.
The deadline for Track and Field is Wednesday, April 16. Spring Youth Basketball and Teen
Basketball deadlines are Saturday, April 19.
Track and Field is $6 for residents and $16 for non-residents. Practices are held every Monday and
Wednesday at Fontana High School, located at 9453 Citrus Avenue and Summit High School located at 15551 Summit
Avenue. Events are open to boys and girls born between 1993 and 2001. To find out more or to register, please

Spring Youth Basketball and Teen Basketball are each $45 for residents and $55 for non-residents.
Practices begin Monday, April 28.
Spring Youth Basketball is played at Alder Middle School, located at 7555 Alder Avenue on Mondays
and Wednesdays. Tuesday and Thursday practices are held at Sequoia Middle School, 9452 Hemlock Avenue. The program

Teen Basketball is played at Ruble Middle School located at 6762 Juniper Avenue on Monday and Wednesdays
beginning Monday, April 28. Tuesday and Thursday practices are also held at Almeria Middle School, located at
7723 Almeria Avenue. The program is for youth born between 1991 and 1994. To find out more, or to register, please

Fontana sports fill quickly. Please register by the deadline to guarantee a spot on a team. Online information
