Fontana residents prepare to Power Up

Fontana, California, May 14, 2008. The Mayor and City Council invite residents to register for a whole new concept in neighborhood classes called Power Up at the Heritage neighborhood center, located at 7350 W. Liberty Parkway. The class which is based on analysis and observation is offered for $35 for four weeks beginning Friday, May 30.

Power Up, taught by Michelle Wafer, is a great example of the innovative programming that will soon feature regularly at the Village of Heritage neighborhood center. Through the analysis of social, political, educational and economic changes, students will learn how to affect change their own lives and the community. This class is great for the future leader.
