PRESS RELEASE
Fontana
Cruise Night to feature L.A. Blue
Release Date: May 28, 2008
Fontana,
California, May 29, 2008. The Mayor and City Council invite the public to the monthly Cruise Night
on Spring Street in downtown Fontana at the Art Depot, (16822 Spring Street), just west of the regional Lewis
Library and Technology Center, from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6.
This month, the City of Fontana Community Services Department is pleased to welcome Southern California based
Latin Rock band L.A. Blue. The band which plays a variety of genres including “Latin, Classic Rock,
Blues, Rhythm and Blues, and Funk claims to have been described as ‘the tightest Urban Latin Rock Band in town.’”
While the music from the stage heats up the night, Spring Street will be alive with the seemingly non-stop flow
of top-of-the-line classic hot rods, low riders, and motorcycles mostly from the Donut Gang and Empire Classics.
While hundreds view the vehicles or dance to the music, still more will be visiting the vendor stalls buying
freshly baked goods, coffee, or specialty items for the family.
Children will enjoy stopping by the Community Services Department’s Mobile Recreation Unit with free face painting
and animal balloons, the Library Adventure Bus, and the Historical Society.
