Cruise
with Classic Auto Clubs in Fontana

Fontana,
California, March 26, 2008. The Mayor and City Council invite citizens residing in the Inland Empire
to join the live entertainment, cool cars, and local festivities offered at the Cruise Night and Market Night
on Friday, April 4 from 5:00 to 10:00 pm. Cruise Night is held the first Friday of every month throughout the
year except January and July, the latter event will be held on July 11, 2008. The event is offered along Sierra
Avenue and Spring Street next to the Art Depot (16822 Spring Street) within the heart of the Civic Center Campus
in downtown Fontana.
The Cruise Night and Market Night is well known for attracting hundreds of cars from hot rods, low-riders, classics,
to contemporary models and motorcycles. Each month, visitors come to Fontana to witness the remarkable display
offered by the members of the Donut Gang and Empire Classics.
While car lovers definitely enjoy Cruising Spring Street to check out all the rides while families and shoppers
spend the evening getting faces painted, playing with animal balloons, specialty shopping for hard to find items,
or simply eating their way from one end of the street to the other. When they are done, many sit down to drink
a hot cup of coffee or eat a plate of freshly baked foods while enjoying a live performance from a California
band.
Cruise Night is open to the public from 5:00 to 10:00 pm. All merchants within the downtown district are eligible
to participate as well as licensed produce vendors and retailers. To find out more, or to register to be a vendor
