Latest Artist Showcase: Untamed Diversity in Cultures

Fontana,
California, March 18, 2008. The Mayor and City Council announce the Artist Showcase of the Quarter:
Untamed Diversity in Cultures featuring Southern California artists, Lisa Cabrera, Susan Hoskinson, Tracy Pritchard,
and Lucien Van Oosten also known collectively as the Shameless Self-Promoters. The showcase of mixed genres and
talents brings a wealth of wisdom and abilities to the Fontana Art Depot, 16822 Spring Street, where selected
pieces will be displayed beginning Monday, March 31 through Friday, June 20. The popular Family Art Day, a fun-filled
event where residents enjoy live entertainment, crafts, and are introduced to the artists will be held on Saturday,
April 5 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
Untamed Diversity in Cultures features a group of talented artists who have a combined lifetime of artistic experiences
that are evidenced in their collection which include paintings, sculptures, and tile work. The artists have been
working together for the past year, showing their talent at various galleries throughout Southern California.
They are quickly being recognized as a dynamic group who will impress any crowd.
"The work was as eclectic as the artists themselves and I guarantee anyone who attends one of our shows will
not be disappointed in what is being presented," says show coordinator, Lucien Van Oosten as he describes one
of their showcases.
Family Art Day will feature the band "Island Rhythms," hands-on art activities, food, and artist demonstrations
followed by an artist showcase.
