Opportunities for Scouts

Mary Vagle Nature Center offers a wide range of programs for scouting. Let us help complete your badge requirements, or work with you on pin and belt-loop awards. We also offer exciting after-school outings. All programs incorporate a hands-on approach to learning. For additional program information, or to speak with us about an Eagle Scout or Gold Award project, call (909) 349-6994. The fee for badge programs is $5.00 per student per badge.

Mary Vagle Nature Center

Located at the base of the Jurupa Hills in southern Fontana, the Nature Center provides a living laboratory for the study of local habitats, native plants, animals, and geology. The Nature Center houses an environmental education classroom and reptile exhibit. Natural features on site include the Nature Center’s pond and immediately behind us, the Jurupa Hills.
