Mary Vagle Nature Center
Our Place
Located in south Fontana at the foot of the Jurupa Hills, the Mary Vagle Nature Center is a natural refuge in the midst of an urban landscape. Here you can enjoy a walk along the nature trail winding around our pond and look out for what is currently blooming in our native gardens. Inside the Nature Center, discover exhibits of local plants, animals, geology and history. The Nature Center offers an oasis for both old and young to explore, investigate, and nurture their curiosity about the outdoors.
Our Mission
The Urban Ecology Program seeks to heighten awareness, deepen understanding, and increase appreciation for living in and caring for our natural world.
