About Miller Fitness Center
Achieve your fitness goals at the Miller Fitness Center. The center offers a wide variety of fitness opportunities
for participants 16 years and older. Build muscles on the universal weight machine or get your cardio workout
on the racquetball courts.
For a full body workout, jump into a fun and fitness style of life with the help of the Miller Fitness Center
and Healthy Fontana programs.
Miller Fitness Passes
The Miller Fitness Center's monthly pass not only offers unlimited use of the fitness room and equipment, lockers
and showers it offers racquetball court access seven (7) days a week!

"Steps Along the Way" Walking Club
The club promotes the health benefits of walking and exercising while motivating first-time walkers to increase
their steps on a weekly basis. This unique walking club program is offered in three communities in the City

- Heart disease and stroke are the first and third leading causes of death for both men and women in the
U.S.
- Over 927,000 Americans die of cardiovascular disease each year, which amounts to 1 death every 34 seconds.
- Over 47% of heart attack victims and about the same percentage of stroke victims die before help can
arrive.
- The cost of heart disease and stroke in the US is projected to be $394 billion in 2005.
- More than 80% of people with high blood cholesterol don’t have it under control.
- Over 30% of adults and 16% of children in the United States are obese.
- A 12 to 13 point reduction in blood pressure can reduce heart attacks by 21%, strokes by 37% and all
