The City of Fontana is
home to 32 baseball/softball fields and 13 soccer/football fields. Reservations are
required for all organizations requesting to use fields. All fields are subject to
availability. To ensure uninterrupted use, reservations are highly recommended.

How to Reserve a City of Fontana Athletic Field
Reserving a ball field is quite easy and can be done in three
easy steps:

A City of Fontana Athletic
Field Application will need to be filled out and submitted two weeks
prior to field use. Applications may be obtained at the Community Services Office
located at 9460 Sierra Avenue in Fontana or online at www.fontanarecreation.org and
can be faxed to
(909) 350-6603.

Once permit is approved,
additional information will be requested and is necessary for use. Insurance is
required.

Balance shall be
paid one week prior to scheduled use.

Park and Facility Rules & Regulations |
- No
person shall have possession of, carry, sell or consume
any alcoholic beverages in any City of Fontana Park.
- Multipurpose/Basketball
courts located in City parks are
not available to be reserved. They are available on a
“first come, first served” basis only.
- Camp
fires/Barbecuing - Cooking and or fires of any kind
will be prohibited except for designated barbecue pits
provided at each park facility.
- Games
may only be played in the authorized areas of
play set aside for that purpose.
- No
vehicles will be permitted on City or School District
facilities or parks without prior written approval by the
City of Fontana.
- All
lining/marking on athletic fields must be done with
chalk or water based paint. The burning of fields with
the use of weed killer, diesel fuel, or any other method
is prohibited on both the City and School District
athletic fields.
- Closing
Time - No person shall enter, loiter, or remain in
any park between the hours of 10:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Extended use
requires a special permit.
