Questions |
- When can aquatic facilities be rented?
All City pools are available for rental Monday through Sunday,
8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., May 31st - June 8th, 2008. Additional dates and times are available through
September 1, 2008.
- Do I need insurance?
Yes. All renters are required to provide proof of liability
insurance which may be provided by your company. Please ask for details.
- What if I don’t
have insurance?
You may provide your own insurance, or you may purchase special event insurance through the City’s
insurance policy. Please call for details.
- How much do I have to put down?
Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of a completed
application (required) and 50% of the total rental fee. Purchase
Orders are accepted.
- When is the final
payment required?
All fees must be paid in full no later than two weeks prior to the
rental date. Checks will be accepted, payable to the City of
Fontana, if final payment is made two weeks prior to the rental.
Fees paid less than two weeks prior must be paid by cash, money
order, or purchase order.
- What happens if I
have to cancel?
Cancellations at least 30 days prior to rental day will result in a refund
of 100% of the total rental fees paid. Less than 30 days prior will result
in a loss of 50% of rental fees paid. Any cancellations made less than
2 weeks prior to date will result in 100% loss of rental fees.
- Who can rent City Aquatic facilities?
Approval for the use of any City facility will only be granted
to adults, age 18 years or older. There are four group categories and rentals are
approved according to class priority:
Class 1
City of Fontana organized and/or sponsored activities.
Class 2
Fontana non-profit civic groups, clubs, organizations and/or
government agencies.
(Proof of Federal non-profit status required)
Class 3
Fontana resident for private parties
and churches.
Class 4
Commercial sponsored events; use by businesses, groups,
associations, unions or individuals for any type of profit-making
activity or event and use by non-residents.
