Passport Information
Everyone must come into the office to apply,
including infants.
How long does it take to get a passport?
Routine Service: 5 to 6 weeks
Expedite Service: 2 to 3 weeks
Documents you need to bring when applying:
- Original Birth Certificate (no California or Texas abstracts) or Original Naturalization Certificate
- Two passport photographs (see below)
- Valid Driver's License or Valid State ID Card

Regular Passports Books are good for Air, Land, & Sea.
Passport Cards are good only for Land and Sea use only!

once completed and provides tracking mechanism.
Two passport pictures are necessary and must be
taken in accordance with federal guidelines.

Passport Photo Guidelines
Frame subject with full face, front view, eyes open.
Make sure photo presents full head from top of hair to bottom of chin.
Center head within frame.
Make sure eye level is between 1 1/8 inch and 1 3/8 inch from bottom of photo.
Photograph subject against a plain white or off-white background.
Position subject and lighting so that there are no distracting shadows.
Encourage subject to have a natural expression.
