Residents must license their dog(s) within 30 days of moving
into the City of Fontana or within 30 days of acquiring a
dog(s) that is 4 months of age or older. First-time license
applications must be submitted at City Hall. Please, however,
do not bring your pets to City Hall, as it is not necessary
for City staff to see the animal being licensed.

New
applications, as well as applications for renewal, may be
obtained at the customer service counter located through the
Main entrance of City Hall, 8353 Sierra Avenue, Monday through
Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

addition, the City has a new, low-cost spay / neuter program
for City residents through the Pet Over-Population Coalition
(POPCO). For more information on this program, please call
