CONSTRUCTION
SECTION
The Construction
Section is primarily responsible for providing contract administration
and inspection services to all City public improvement construction
projects monitored through the Department
of Engineering.
These projects may be funded through Assessment Districts,
Community Facilities Districts, Capital Improvements, City, State
or Federal Funds.
The Construction Section is supported by the Inspection Section. The Department of Engineering Inspection Section provides Public Works inspection
to all public and private construction occurring within
public right-of-way.

Inspection Section
The Inspection Section
provides inspections for all public and private construction occurring within public right-of-way. This includes all work done in conjunction with all City Engineering Excavation and Construction permits. Street Construction and Excavation permit applications and City Standards Drawings are available at the Engineering Public Counter at City Hall
from the Land Development Section.
