Purpose
The academy is designed to give citizens an overview of the Police Department's policies and procedures. Classes are taught by police executives, local judges and the District Attorney's Office.

Participation
Participate with your local Police Department and examine the difficulties and challenges they face daily. We are offering a free nine-week academy:

• 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm
• Every Thursday evening, March 7, 2013 - May 2, 2013
• City Hall - Flex Conference Room (entrance through Council Chambers on the north side of building)  

The 2013 Citizen's Academy class is now full.  All applications received will be placed on file for the 2014 session.
