Natural and created features in the park surrounding the center offer a great opportunity for busy Inland Empire residents whose schedules won’t allow for longer excursions.

Nestled at the foot of the Jurupa Hills the park offers native plant gardens, a dry wash with mulefat and willow, a pond, and numerous canopy trees providing inviting perches for migrants and year-round residents.

The Center maintains feeding stations for both seed eaters and hummingbirds. It also manages a nest-box program monitored by citizen scientists from the local community.
