Fire Station No. 73
Project Description
Fire Station No. 73 is a new 8,931 SF facility located in the City of Fontana.  Its construction is being funded by the City of Fontana for the Fontana Fire District/SBCFD.  The new station is designed to accommodate six fire fighters in an individual dormitory style setting. 
Station Features
  • A three-bay apparatus room
  • Administrative offices
  • A kitchen, dining room and day room
  • A physical training room and locker room
  • Secure parking
  • An above ground fuel station and emergency generator
  • A covered patio area
The Fire Station also includes the various support spaces required for a facility of this type, including an independent 100 SF storage building.
The Fire Station was designed in such a a way that it will reflect the design aesthetics of the neighboring homes.  It will also include design features which will screen mechanical equipment from view.
