National Public Lands Day
Whether you are a first-time explorer or an outdoor veteran, you will find new adventures at our National Public Lands Day celebration!

National Public Lands Day
began 23 years ago as a national event bringing volunteers and land agencies together to enhance public spaces. Together with the Inland Empire Resource Conservation District,
the Mary Vagle Nature Center will be celebrating its 8th Annual National Public Lands Day with volunteer work projects in the morning.

Park Volunteer Projects 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Calling All Volunteers! Join us for projects in the park! This year's featured projects include installation of California native plant gardens. Get acquainted with native plant species and learn about water wise gardening.

Become part of an event with nearly 200,000 volunteers working on behalf of public lands in every state of the country.

Pre-registration is required for volunteering. Email Susan for more information.

The Mary Vagle Nature Center has partnered with the Inland Empire Resource Conservation District to host this event. The Inland Empire Resource Conservation District is involved with many exciting stewardship and education projects in our community, including free school programs. Come meet representatives from the Inland Empire Resource Conservation District and learn how they help to sustain our natural resources. For more information visit www.iercd.org.
