Fontana's 4th of July Celebration

Don't forget to buy your 4th of July Celebration tickets at $4/per person (all ages). To purchase your tickets stop by one of the following Fontana locations:

 water rebates and incentives Water Conservation Rebates and Incentives 

There are rebates and incentives available to residents that provide residential water management and conservation. To learn about rebate and incentives visit: Fontana.org/WaterSmartPlan.

The City of Fontana is serviced by three water companies: Fontana Water Co., West Valley Water District and Cucamonga Valley Water District. Be sure to check with your water company provider to verify your outdoor watering days. 
 pavement rehabilitation Arrow Boulevard Pavement Rehabilitation 

The City of Fontana, Public Works Department will be performing asphalt pavement rehabilitation on Arrow Boulevard. Due to the construction of the improvements there will be lane closures and street parking restrictions. The construction is scheduled from June 2015 through July 10, 2015. 
 Cooling Centers Fontana Cooling Facilities 

There is plenty of ways to get relief from the heat. Apart from visiting a community pool, you can also visit a local Fontana Community Center. Visit one of the following locations to beat the heat:

  • Jessie Turner Center:

  • Heritage Neighborhood Center:
    7350 W. Liberty Parkway 
  • Cypress Neighborhood Center:
    8380 Cypress Avenue 
  • Don Day Neighborhood Center:

safe sane fireworks "Safe and Sane" Fireworks Only in Fontana

The Fontana Police Department will be increasing enforcement to keep community members safe from illegal fireworks. Only "Safe and Sane" fireworks are permitted in Fontana.

"Safe and Sane fireworks can be identified by a State of California or State Fire Marshall registered logo on the firework itself. Beware of individuals selling fireworks from their homes or cars that may say "Safe and Sane" but are not. 
4th and pet safety
4th of July Pet Safety 

During the holiday remember to keep the following in mind regarding your furry friends! 
  • Keep your pets secured inside 
  • Give your pets a safe place - a space equipped with bedding and their favorite toys and treats
  • Turn on a television or radio to help drown out the fireworks
  • Make sure your pets have proper updated IDs (tags, microchips).
