Summit at Rosena Specific Plan
Project Location
The Summit at Rosena is located in the northern portion of the City of Fontana, southeast of Interstate 15 within the northwest quadrant of the interception of Summit Avenue and Sierra Avenue. The Summit at Rosena is bisected by an Southern California Edison (SCE) right-of-way, which runs in an east / west direction through the project site. A Metropolitan Water District (MWD) right-of-way is located in the northern portion of the site and also follows an east / west route.

Project Description
The community encompasses 179.8 acres of land. The community will include:
  • 856 dwelling units of various sizes and types
  • Mixed-use activity center featuring both attached dwellings and neighborhood retail and service uses in a compatible layout
  • Elementary school
  • Open space areas providing both passive and active recreational uses

The 20-acre Edison Trails Park, running through the center of the community, will offer a pleasant visual amenity for the project and primarily passive-use recreational area, with over a mile of meandering walking / bike paths, six exercise stations, landscaping, xeriscape demonstration gardens, and parking.
