Universal Waste
As of February 9, 2006, universal wastes such as items with lead, mercury, cadmium, and other toxic metals, cannot be thrown away. Fontana residents can bring these items to:

Fontana’s Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Facility
16454 Orange Way
Saturdays - 8:00 am to 12:00 noon (except for major holiday weekends or inclement weather)

Please note:
This service is available to Fontana City residents only. Residents must bring a copy your Burrtec trash bill in order to verify residency. Please see the following list for items to take to the HHW:
