Universal Waste


As of February 9, 2006, universal wastes such as items with lead, mercury, cadmium, and other toxic metals, cannot be thrown away. Fontana residents can bring these items to:

Fontana’s Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Facility
16454 Orange Way
Saturdays - 8:00 am to 12:00 noon (except for major holiday weekends or inclement weather)


Please note: 
       Fontana Residents Only
       Must bring copy of recent Burrtec Trash Bill to verify Residency.
           
(If resident does not have a Burrtec Trash Bill, they can still use the facility to drop off their HHW items. However, 
           they will need to provide on-site staff with their name and address to verify residency).
