Sunshine Club

Club Information

The Sunshine Club is a social outlet for both individuals with special needs and their families. The program is designed to provide families with a supportive atmosphere that is so often relied on.

The Sunshine Club activities and events are planned by City staff for people aged three years and older who have been diagnosed with a cognitive disability and are classified from mild to severe.

Individuals who wish to participate must:
  • Be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
  • Be self-sufficient
  • Be able to function in a group environment without causing harm to themselves or others or disrupting the group

Please fill out our Above the Limits survey to help better our program for your needs.  Fill out the survey by March 25th and bring your confirmation to one of our upcoming events to receive an Above the Limits t-shirt. (One per participant, while supplies last).
